Unique vacuum filters are of robust construction, built with the latest technology in filtration. The media in roll form is supported by a conveyor mechanism throughout the bottom. A pump sucks the coolant from the vacuum chamber and the liquid passes through the media, with all contaminants retained on top of it.
As the media becomes choked with accumulated contaminants, a vacuum switch gives the signal and fresh media is indexed for a prefixed time. Supply to the machine is continuous and unaffected, because coolant is drawn from the regenerating tank during indexing.
The complete system is automatic and controlled by a PLC. Flow rates range from 300 LPM to 30,000 LPM. Vacuum filters are used for centralized coolant systems, where they are very economical and highly reliable.
