Magnetic filters are designed for effective separation of ferrous contamination from coolants and oils. The body is of robust construction with a powerful magnetic drum, continuously rotated by a geared motor at slow speed.
Ferrous particles are attracted onto the drum and scraped off. An oil-resistant rubber roller squeezes out the collected dust so that coolant oil is not carried away with the sludge - wastage is avoided.
Special filters are also available with rare earth magnetic construction, which are 4 to 5 times more powerful than conventional magnetic filters. Units are manufactured in capacities from 30 LPM to 3000 LPM.
